Yep, it is 3:30 again, this time Rob woke me up....getting into a very
early morning routine-I blog, rob goes over and gets us coffee, we sit
in the family room and read until about 6:30-then we "nap" for an
hour, then up for the day :)

Last night was quite an experience-all 12 couples and Tefara-our guest
house manager-went out to an Ethiopia Restaurant and Cultural Night-the
meal was very traditional with Injera and we had Wot-which was
amazing! We ended up trying a few other dishes as one adoptive mom
from DC has a ton of experience ordering Ethiopia food and found a few
items we might like-of course I did try the Authentic Tej (Honey) wine
which was wonderful. During our stay at the guest house most of food
is like what our friend Andy told us it would be-a lot of pastas,
however yesterday for breakfast we had these huge pancakes (not better
than Robs, but very very good!).

Today is the pre-court meeting. Rob and I also get to drop off the 43
lbs bag of clothing that we are brought from Minneapolis as well as
all the donations for AHOPE as well-once I return I will let you know
what we need to carry for trip two if anyone wants to donate as well.

We meet our in-country social worker, watch a "life book" DVD and
review questions for tomorrow's court meeting and afternoon meeting
with the birth parents.

Prayers would be welcome in regards to the preparation and hopefully
smooth court meeting tomorrow-as well as the strength to meet with the
birth parent friday afternoon.

After our meetings today we are off to the Ethiopia Historical Museum
and then a little more shopping-although Rob did say I have bought
enough Giraffe's for his room now!

Hope each and everyone of you is having a wonderful week!
