Waiting on Word THIS WEEK!

"Happy Birthday Isaiah"

Well the ups and downs of the last 3 months will be decided this week. Last Monday myself and 2 other mom's who have been waiting since March 3rd to return to Ethiopia hatched a plan to fly to Ethiopia, and travel to the regional MOWA office to advocate for our children and their file to be finalized and returned to the judge (mind you Rob not soo keen on this plan, but a mother's heart leads her to do unimaginable things). I hit "send" on the email to the social worker about my plan and waited for the call....sure enough about an hour later she called. Instead of a "no" it was more of a 'Jessica, we just received word MOWA has finished the file and it is traveling back to the judge' so the idea of travel would be moot as the decision has been made on our case.

What is the decision? We are unsure-but a weight of unknown and anxiety of waiting has lifted from our hearts. We trust what ever the decision on our adoption-God's hand has crafted it. We continue to hope and pray that Isaiah will be declared ours and we can start breathing again and planning for his travel here.
