The lawyer (or who I call my Angel in Africa) continues to go to the AWASA-MoWA office to ask for release of our letter as well so we can finally be submitted to court.
No ideas when courts will close this year-last year it was early August, literally 10 days after we received the referral on our guy....the days are getting closer to that court closure and an extended wait for processing (until mid october).
Last week we had a conference call/meeting with our social worker to update our home study. She added "patience and perseverance" to qualities Rob and I have as a couple moving forward in this adoption process. Now I think I have been forced into patience-and those who know me through this know I don't do it gracefully-but I do believe Rob and I do have the perseverance to overcome even this most difficult time, watching and waiting for a governmental agency to release a little boy to a family-both who need each other.
If we ever needed a miracle-now would be the time.
It's going to happen. Keep the faith!
